About

I knew I wanted to be a professional writer when I interned at the Seattle Weekly right after high school. It was a thrilling experience to get my articles published city-wide, and I loved the writing, research, interviewing, fact-checking and collaboration work that it entailed. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in journalism, I worked as a city reporter at several local newspapers for a few years.

More recently, I ventured into the world of copywriting. I found that copywriting has both similarities and differences to journalism. Solid writing, research and interviewing skills are still just as relevant, but copywriting can often involve more creativity and flare. I love them both! These days, however, I’m more focused on copywriting.

When not writing, I enjoy indoor gardening, exercising, playing wheelchair basketball, cooking delicious food and practicing mindfulness.

Need an experienced journalist-gone-copywriter to tell your work’s story?
